Buy or Build a Successful Internet Business :: Sell Websites Buy Web Sites
Purchase or Build a Successful Internet Business Reproduced with consent of VotanWeb.com Numerous individuals who donââ¬â¢t make their living on the web accept that the Internet has gotten swarmed. They are persuaded that there are currently not many chances to build up an enormously effective online business. Nothing could be further from reality. I have propelled a few sites that were newbies in exceptionally packed specialty markets. These sites currently command their point of view specialties and each produces a six figure benefit â⬠before the administration takes their gigantic offer for contributing nothing. Obviously, there are standard territories that have gotten very immersed. These business sectors are effectively distinguished by the foolish compensation per click (PPC) costs for catchphrase phrases focused at these business sectors. To succeed you should cook items or administrations to a specialty showcase. Most of individuals who start an online organizations do as such with little idea and no arranging. They locate a distributer who outsources items straightforwardly to clients and afterward they construct a site. The boundaries to section are non existent. Any a secondary school understudy with a parentââ¬â¢s Visa can rapidly manufacture a site, pay for catchphrases on PPC motors and have a deal all inside a couple of hours. This works since that understudy comes in at the most reduced cost and is excited making 10% edges or $200 dollars seven days. In the event that you wish to build up a fruitful eCommerce business, at that point it is useful on the off chance that you can make high obstructions to passage. For instance, having the selective option to disperse an item over the Internet or disseminating an item you producer would make high section boundaries. In the event that you donââ¬â¢t presently approach any elite items or administrations, at that point consider moving toward organizations who don't advertise their merchandise by means of the Internet and secure a restrictive option to offer their items or administrations on the web. Another technique for making high obstructions to passage is downright difficult work. At the point when I built up my site for schools there were at that point numerous comparable sites on the web. Every one of these sites gave data on ten to thirty distinct schools. I propelled my site with data on more than 600 schools and inside a couple of months I was the most noteworthy positioned site in this class. When all is said in done, in the event that I canââ¬â¢t offer multiple times what is being offered by set up sites in a market specialty then I donââ¬â¢t enter a built up showcase.

The literature value for pure benzil is 95C and the final crystallized benzil temperature value is very close to the literature value. This testifies the purity of the experimental benzil. The melting point value of the crude was much lower and the range was much wider due to the impurities. For further conformation of the purity of experimental benzil, the infrared spectroscopy was observed. . The following functional groups were determined on the infrared spectroscopy according to their corresponding wavenumbers: aromatic, sp2 C-H bonds, and C=O/carbonyl group (Table 4). Benzil incorporates all of the above functional groups. The melting and infrared spectroscopy confirmed that the final product created was Benzil. In the following reaction, benzil was rearranged to from benzilic acid by reacting it with potassium hydroxide in ethanol. 0.100 benzil was utilized and the theoretical yield of benzilic acid was 0.109 grams (see Eq 5). How the First Impressionist Exhibition Came to Be
The first Impressionist exhibition took place from April 15ââ¬âMay 15, 1874. It was led by French artists Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Camille Pissarro, and Berthe Morisot. At the time, they called themselves the Anonymous Society of Painters, Sculptors, Printmakers, etc., but that would soon change. At 35 Boulevard des Capucines in Paris, the former studio of photographer Nadar, 30 artists displayed more than 200 works. The building was modern and the paintings were modernââ¬âpictures of contemporary life painted in a technique that looked unfinished to both art critics and the general public. The works of art could be purchased during the duration of the show. In one sense, the exhibition was a bit of a bust. Art critics did not take the show seriously, as they were not interested in the new ideas being put forward. Meanwhile, though it was well-attended by the public, much of the audience was made up of people ready to insult and make fun of the work. In fact, the exhibition closed with each artist having to pay a share for the losses incurred. The group was forced to temporarily disband until their next exhibition two years later. There was a bright spot in this showing, however. Louis Leroy, a critic for Le Charivari, called his nasty, satirical review of the event Exhibition of Impressionists, which was inspired by Claude Monets painting Impression: Sunrise (1873). Leroy meant to discredit their work; instead, he invented their identity. Still, the group did not call themselves Impressionists until 1877 during their third show (Degas never approved of the name at all). Other suggestions included Independents, Naturalists, and Intransigents (which implied political activism), but it was Leroys failed insult that won out. The Elemental Exploration Of A Salt And Salt Solution, And...
Project A: The elemental exploration of the behavior of iron in physiological conditions, the acquisition of solid copper from a salt and salt solution, and the synthesis and crystallization of aluminum. Introduction: Iron is an essential element in the human body. It can be found in the hemoglobin and transferrin of the bloodstream, and in myoglobin in muscle tissue. The main purpose of iron is to transfer oxygen within the body. To gain iron, humans must consume a diet that consist abundantly of iron such as leaf vegetables, fish, beans, etc. Absorption of iron is especially important because less than 15% of iron in daily diets are absorbed and used (Jacobs 1971). The formation of iron (II) occurs in the stomach because of its lowâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Because synthesis requires multiple steps to make a desired reaction, the yield is lower than other synthesis. On the first day, if the substances have a significant amount of precipitate, then the substance will require a greater number of drops of sodium hydroxide than substances with an insignificant amount of substrate. On the second day, if the starting reactants affect the yield of the product then obtaining solid copp er from a salt will result in a greater yield. If aluminum foil is the limiting reactant of the experiment, then the percent yield will increase as the amount of foil increases. Materials/Methods: Project A, Day 1 In Part 1, 50 milliliters of 5% sodium hydroxide solution was obtained and observed in a 100 mL beaker and 30 milliliters of pH 2 dissolved iron solution was also obtained and observed in a 50 mL beaker. To observe the behavior of dissolved iron with sodium hydroxide, 5 milliliters of pH 2 dissolved iron was transferred to a large test tube. Drops of 5% solution of sodium hydroxide were slowly added and monitored for physical changes. A glass stir rod was used to transfer a small amount of solution onto pH paper in between drops of 5% solution of sodium hydroxide until the solution had a pH of 8. In Part II, 5 milliliters of dissolved iron was placed in a large test tube. To test the effect of different additive substances on dissolved iron, .2 grams of methionine was added to

Shareholder Primacy Revisited
Question: Directors of companies have an obligation to act in the best interests of the company. Elaborate on how the courts approach this duty and explain whether the corporations law in Australia has made this duty onerous. Answer: A number of duties have been imposed on the directors of companies. These duties have been imposed by the common law at the same time, the Corporations Act, 2001 (Cth) also prescribes the statutory duties of directors. Among these duties is the duty to act bona fide, in the best interests of the company. In this way, the beauty requires that the directors should exercise their powers bona fide, for the benefit of the company. In this regard, the duty to act in good faith is different from the other duties that have been imposed on the directors. This duty allows a challenge to be made in the court regarding a particular decision that has been taken by the directors or regarding a transaction that has been entered into by the directors.[1] Therefore, a particular transaction can be set aside by the company if it can be established that there has been a breach of duty of good faith by the directors who have made such a decision, depending on the fact that the other party was aware of t he breach of this duty by the directors. However in this regard it needs to be noted that the purpose behind the introduction of the 'assumptions rule' mentioned in section 129(4) of the Corporations Act is to protect the outsiders from having the transactions revoked on the grounds of the failure of the directors. Therefore, this means that a transaction can be removed only if the assumptions that are available under section 129 have been displaced by knowledge or suspicion that the assumption is not correct. In this regard the general approach adopted by the courts in Australia is that the courts have been reluctant to become involved in the disputes that are related with the merits of a particular decision taken by the directors. In this way, the principal related with limited judicial intervention has been expressed in the narrowly cast grounds of judicial review related with the breach of duty of good faith by the directors and also in the procedural rules which restrict the standing of the directors and sue for the breach of duty or irregularities in the procedure adopted by the company and its governance.[2] There are certain elements that are associated with the duty of the directors to act in good faith. Therefore traditionally these require that the directors of the bona fide and for the benefit of the company as a whole. While it is applied to the directors, the inquiry is made regarding the motive, intention and the beliefs of the directors and also the fact is considered if the directors have made interests of the company as the main consideration behind the decision taken by them. On the other hand, the discretionary powers granted to the directors will be considered to be abused by them if these powers are used by the directors for the purpose of achieving a personal advantage or to confer a benefit on a third-party or to cause a loss to the company.[3] In this way, the modern duty to act in good faith has three distinct and independent duties that are also related with each other and applied to the directors when they are acting in the position as the directors of the company an d exercising their corporate powers. Each duty provides an independent ground for judicial review and an intervention by the court in the decisions taken by the directors. Therefore, there should be subjective good-faith, proper purpose and the need one part of the directors to consult and in accordance with the interests of the company. In this way, it is the duty of the directors select honestly and in the best interests of the company as these interests are perceived by the directors. It needs to be noted that in such cases the process of judicial review is restricted to the inquiry that is made regarding the subjective intention of each director. In this context, it is required that the directors should honestly believe that the action taken by them is in the best interests of the company but this fact alone does not validate the action taken by the directors. Therefore such a decision can be appreciated by the breach of other two elements mentioned above that are part of this duty, as each of these elements have an objective content. It is therefore require that the corporate powers should be exercised by the directors for the purpose for which these powers have been granted to the directors. As a result, a particular decision taken by the directives can be invalidated by the courts if it has been found that the motivating purpose behind the decision is one that is allowed by the court as the one those for which the particular powers of the directives can be legitimately exercised or if it is not for the benefit of the company as a whole. Therefore it is recorded this regard that the power should be exercised by the directors bona fide or in other words, for the purpose for which the powers granted to the directors and not arbitrarily or according to the absurd bill of the directors. Therefore the directors should exercise their power honestly and in the best interests of the shareholders of the corporation as a whole.[4] However the need for distinguishing between the requirement of good faith and proper purpose becomes very significant when the power in question can have more objective characterisation. It has been recognized by the courts in Australia that the strict fiduciary standard is not compatible with the realities of the office of the directors, particularly in case of the provide the companies they're generally the directors also have the shareholding interest in the corporation. As a result, the courts came up with a 'mixed purpose' doctrine so that the sickness of this requirement can be reduced. In this way, in Mills v Mills[5], it was stated by the court that if the actions of the directors are merely invalidated due to the presence of such an interest, it will be like setting an impossible standard and the directors will be required to live in unreal era of detached altruism. As a result, it was proposed that the test of validity that can be used in such a case is to see what was the moving cause behind the action taken by the directors? The third head of this duty is to consult and direct according to the interests of which have been identified by the law as interests of the company. The duty to consult the interests of the company represent the long-standing ground of judicial review that is not related with the subjective good-faith of individual directors and denies the role of derivative interpreters of the common interests to the directors. In this way, this legal issue is related with the questions of corporate purpose and the corporate social responsibility. Where the di rectors have been acting in context of the interests that are extraneous to the interests that have been recognized by the law as interests of the company, the action will not be saved by the honest belief of the directors that they were acting in the interests of the company. Under the circumstances, it can be said that the duty has become onerous as a result of the corporations law because the Corporations Act prescribes a civil penalty in case of the breach of this duty. Behaviors and Theories Essays - Behavior, Psychology,
Behaviors and Theories ECE 313 Donna Thompson Final Paper Karree FahOctober 18, 2010 Behaviors and Theories They are many theories, concepts, and local resources that apply to the early childhood classroom and the child's family. Among these things it also includes behaviors that need to be encouraged in a pre-school setting and at home with parents. In this paper I will hopefully answer the following question: How do educators/parents encourage desired behaviors from pre-school aged children in both the child care and home setting? And I will also list and explain strategies for teaching these behaviors to children and how parents can reinforce these behaviors at home. The five behaviors that I will be discussing that need to be encouraged in the pre-school & home setting are as followed: a. Attachment b. Aggression c. Problem-Solving Skills d. Building Self-help Skills and e. Self-Esteem. Attachment is a lasting emotional relationship that begins to develop in infancy and serves to tie the infant to one or more people in his or her life. Many parents do not realize that the first early attachment sets the tone for a child?s development and defines some of the issues that he or she will carry into adulthood. The strategies for teaching parents how to use behaviors at home for attachment are to stress that attachment contributes to cognitive development in infants. When children feel secure, they are freer to explore the environment around them, and that education is social-emotional development and the basis of that is attachment comes from a synchronous relationship, Behaviors and Theories which grow from a number of synchronous interactions. As a pre-school provider it is important that you express to the parents that children can have attachment to both the parent and the caregiver that it is not a competition , and you must work together to better the child?s education. Encourage the parents to have a vision for the child?s future, just as they have the knowledge of the past. Also you should help the family and also become close to family as well as the child to make sure that the child is not receiving neglect from either source The theorist that was responsible for this was John Bowlby (1969;1973), a researcher noted for his attachment theory. He studied children separated from their parents while in the hospital, which was common practice at the time because children are easier to work with when parents aren?t ?in the way.? Bowlby found that separation from family can be devastating to children?s development and mental health, even if the professional care and me dical procedures take care of their physical problems. He did the classic work on attachment and hospitalization, which made a difference in how doctors and hospitals treat the parent/child relationship today. Medical personnel no longer exclude parents from their children?s presence in the hospital. We know now about attachment and hospitalization; we are still learning about attachment and education. The strategies for teaching parents how to use behaviors at home for Aggression, is to educate them on the behavior of aggression which would include: The child will repeat aggressive behavior if he/she was rewarded for Behavior and Theories this behavior in the past. So be careful as a parent what you reward your child for. Aggression in children could be that the behavior is the result of bottled-up emotions or the behavior might stem from a physical source, or from watching others get what they want through aggression. Aggression can come from an extreme defensiveness. The parent and teacher can help children clarify situations, and explore alternatives to aggression. As parents and teachers we should both show firmness and empathy. And take a problem-solving attitude rather than a power play towards the child?s aggression. Way back in 1975, Barclay Martin reviewed 27 studies on the effects of harsh punishment and concluded that children were likely to store up frustration from being punished and vent it later, using the violence that was used on them. The message regarding avoiding using aggression to deal with aggression is still today. Among behaviors, problem-solving behaviors are a very important one for a child. Learning problem solving techniques will help the child to solve problem though-out his/her lifetime. Strategies for teaching parents how to use behaviors at

It essentially amounts to this: type 2 has the potential to be entertaining and engaging and type 1 doesnt. After all, prestigious prizes are awarded for literature, journalism and non-fiction writing. Meanwhile, the kind of writing they have to do at work can be, yes, functional ââ¬â but probably also dry. Thats just how it is. You may be unsurprised to hear we dont think thats true. OK, you might not win a Pulitzer Prize for your latest proposal, this months management report or that email you wrote to Stuart in Accounts. But you can make the reading experience for your potential client, the management team or old Stu a more interesting one. Better still, doing so will make a huge difference to how successful and effective what youve written is. We live in a world of too many documents and too little time, and anything thats actually a pleasure to read already has an advantage. So heres how you can help topple the myth that business writing has to be B-O-R-I-N-G: Begin at the beginning Begin with your reader. This is always our number one rule, simply because who youre writing for should colour all the decisions you make when writing. A reader is much, much more likely to be engaged by what youve written if it feels relevant to them. Lets face it, if someone concludes by sentence three that this particular document or email has no relevance to them, what do you suppose the odds of them continuing to read are? Yep ââ¬â not good. Ideally, youd be writing about a topic that already interests them, naturally ââ¬â but there again, you may not have a choice. And even if you know theyre unlikely to be instantly gripped, you still have the chance to find a way to make it seem as important as you can to them. Ask yourself these questions every time you write, to prime yourself. And it might sound obvious, but be clear on what you want to say before you get going. Plan the structure first. Combining the thinking and writing processes tends to result in a message that meanders all over the place. And (tough love time), you cant expect anyone to follow you round the houses on the off-chance they find a point along the way. Hook em in Engaging writing has to engage from the start. Those first lines are when your reader is weighing up whether to keep going or do something else instead (like reading another document or email, checking social media or simply leaving their desk and grabbing a coffee). Its at this point that you set their mood for facing the rest. Clearly, it doesnt bode well if their reaction to the first few lines is, Wow, this is going to be a slog. So make your introduction work hard to captivate from the beginning. Its the gatekeeper to the rest of your work. Of course, the reader isnt the only one who may find this section problematic. You will still be getting into the swing of writing when you compose your introduction (unless youre writing it in a panic at the end). This makes it easy to start out a bit long-winded, waffly or flat. But an introduction must have impact. So keep your first sentence or two tight, and definitely dont go in with reams of background. One great technique you can use to kick off is the surprise intro: a strong statement that ââ¬â youve guessed it ââ¬â will come as a surprise and shake the reader out of autopilot. Something like More than 60 per cent of Acme Widgets business comes from just 20 customers or One in six people are at risk of flooding in England has a good chance of making them want to read on to find out more. Invisible ink Hands up everyone who likes working really hard to understand something. Thought so. Its very important to make your writing effortless to read. The best writing is invisible. This means that the language used doesnt draw attention to itself ââ¬â its just a stealth vehicle for the message, which then seems to arrive in your readers head as if from nowhere. And how do you achieve this? Using simple language is a good place to start. Make short words your first choice. Mind you, what this doesnt mean is that you shouldnt ever use longer words. It means, when you do, you do so because the longer word is the best fit, not because it seems like a high-class upgrade. So, you might put utilise in place of the shorter use for its specific meaning of employing something to do a job it wasnt necessarily designed for. But replacing help with ameliorate wont gain you extra points or frequent flyer miles ââ¬â it just might lose you readers. The points less about always using the shortest word and more about choosing words that are familiar ââ¬â theres where your knowledge of the reader comes in. Try to avoid a word thats likely to send them off to the dictionary, or that could make them feel frustrated, small or stupid because they dont know it. Treat jargon words the same way, and ban any that wont be understood. (Do use ones that youre sure will be a useful shorthand, though ââ¬â again, its about knowing whats appropriate for the reader.) In fact, try to write more or less as youd speak in a meeting: professional but conversational. Reading your work aloud can help to check your written voice is as natural as your speech. Doing this will also remind you to pick verbs over the noun equivalent where you would say something using verbs ââ¬â we agreed rather than we reached an agreement, for example. The same goes for favouring the active voice, where you put the doer before what he, she or it did: we discussed the matter not the matter was discussed by us. (But if you would naturally say it in the passive, use the passive.) Two-way conversations You can draw on more conventions of conversation to engage a reader as you would a listener. Borrow its directness. Would you ever refer to yourself ââ¬â or the other person ââ¬â in the third person if you were having a chat? Catie would like to determine if a cup of tea would be of value to the addressee. No-one wants to sit next to that person in the office. Yet we often switch to this kind of indirect, detached language when we write. Weve all seen it. Management would appreciate it if colleagues comments were received by Friday, says the memo to no-one in particular, as if written by a disinterested outsider. But guess what? To be engaging, you have to engage with people. So use you to address the reader if you can, plus the odd I, or we for the company. Youll sound much more human too. And try using questions. Even closed ones with a simple yes/no answer can be powerful, as you cant help but answer them in your head (can you?). Make them see it, feel it and believe it A common piece of advice in fiction writing is show, dont tell ââ¬â but it applies just as well to business writing. Showing is more visual and convincing than just proclaiming a fact and hoping youll be believed. Check if youre relying too heavily on describing words, whether theyre describing things or actions. Either way, they can sound a bit thin if theres nothing backing them up. So dont just say sales have been impressive, get specific: say theyve doubled or increased by 30 per cent in a month. And dont just call your team of trainers experienced ââ¬â say how many years theyve been in the industry or whom theyve successfully helped. What did that success look like? Did they increase productivity or sales? Be sure to put numbers in a context people can actually relate to. Commit to what youre saying. Confident words are compelling, while continually using hedge words like perhaps, its possible, and it is our intention to will chip away at your readers faith in you. Find your rhythm When it comes to the sound of your writing, think less techno and more jazz. Mix up the length of your sentences to vary the rhythm and keep your reader (who will hear your words in their head) interested. You probably can ââ¬â and should ââ¬â go much shorter with your sentences than you think, sticking to a maximum of 35 words and an average of 15ââ¬â20. But variety is key. If theyre all similarly longish, itll be dull; all short and the effect is like that of being on a bus during rush hour ââ¬â endless stop-starting, a sense of nausea and a desperate desire to escape. Use punctuation to keep the rhythm interesting too ââ¬â a strategically placed dash (like that one), for example, can add a nice dramatic pause. Meanwhile, brackets give the sense of an aside. If youre feeling particularly creative, you can play with some literary techniques thatll make your writing more visual and memorable. One is alliteration ââ¬â repeatedly using the same letter, as above in stop-starting and desperate desire. The other is the power of three. No-ones sure quite why, but three does indeed seem to be the magic number. One way you can exploit this is by illustrating with three examples, as (again) with those side effects of riding a bus, or the subheading Make them see it, feel it and believe it. Theres no need to overdo these last two tricks, but they do give your writing a bit more punch and staying power ââ¬â which is why advertisers use them. And finally One last thing: remember that for your writing to be engaging, you have to be engaged while youre writing it. Going through the motions wont result in anything that sounds fresh, especially if youre still getting used to trying out these techniques. With all that in mind, lets go forth and be engaging ââ¬â yes, even at work. As well as giving everything we create the best chance at success, we just might make the world of business writing a bit more interesting. And that would indeed be something to prize. Growing trend in online education Research Paper
Growing trend in online education - Research Paper Example e and usage of computers started to decline and more focus was given to those devices which were more capable of ensuring communication between more than two individuals. For example, it was also intent that, in the clinical advancement, there should be electronic mechanism between patient, doctor, nurse and other medical staff who was directly or indirectly connected with the health of the patient. As a result of such expectations, the recent advancement in the shape of online education has not only facilitated the electronic communication between nursing students and health teaching hospitals facilities but also increased an opportunity for studying and learning through using the medium of the Internet. Overall, this transformation has considerably increased opportunities for online nursing learning and also enabled to adjust their routine study schedule as they want to. In the following parts of this paper, first description about online education has been provided. Moreover, this part also elaborates on the general significance of online education. Subsequently, Significance of online education for nursing students has also been provided. After that part, merits of online education has been included in which accessibility and affordability features have been mainly emphasized and elaborated as well. It is followed by demerits of online education part in which education quality and lack of concentration have been detailed. Before the conclusion part, the significance of magnet status for hospitals and the nursing students has been included. Online education is growing across the world (Shelton and Saltsman, 2005.p.146). The current State of Security in Smartphone Term Paper
The current State of Security in Smartphone - Term Paper Example Mobile technology is the latest domain that has been exploited by malicious intent users, like hackers, intruders etc, to achieve personal gains from jeopardizing the security of the legitimate users. This paper shall address the prevailing security threats that are witnessed in Smartphone technology alongside the technologies that are used to protect the devices from such threats. 2. Security in Smartphone The security threats that revolved around computers have migrated into the Smartphone domain and causing heavy losses to the users. To highlight the relevance of security measures on smartphones, Cheng (2011) provided results from a survey that was conducted by McAfee in the current year. The survey revealed that malware instances for Android (one of the most common smartphones in the current times) have increased by a significant figure of 76% in the last four months. Malware is defined as any program or application that is developed for the purpose of performing illicit activiti es, such as Trojans, viruses and worms. Some of the examples of security threats in smartphones are given below: 2.1 Smishing Phishing attacks had been known to cause harm to personal computers but a similar security threat is prevailing in the current times that is directed to harm smartphone- smishing and vishing. Ruggiero and Foote (2011) stated that hackers use the conventional approach of sending fake messages or voicemails to the recipients and urge them to call a financial institution with the aim to update their security settings etc. Voicemail systems are activated on the respective fake hosts that record sensitive information of the recipient. 2.2 Baseband Hacking Hackers have invented ways to intercept cellular phone calls by making the chips and firmware compromised in the Smartphone. Cheng (2011) stated that the baseband processor of the phone is turned into a listening device and enables the hackers to record conversation taking place between the participants. This can serve to record sensitive information and thus be used for malicious intent. 2.3 Infected Applications Applications are the most attractive feature of smartphones since they allow an individual to perform a diverse range of operations, for example play games, browse the web etc. Applications have also become one of the most common modes of infecting smartphones with compromised programs, such as Trojans. Apple and Blackberry follow a procedure of screening the applications (that might be contributed by developers) before publishing them on their App stores; this approach makes them avoid many Trojan attacks that might be hidden in the programs. Android follows a different approach and does not perform any screening process on the applications. Chang (2011) stated that an Android application with the name of ââ¬Å"Steamy Windowâ⬠has the power to convert a Smartphone into a botnet zombie. Upon successful acquisition of control over the phone, the hacker can perform any desired operation, such as: Send messages to any contact Make the browser point to compromised sites that may facilitate the transmission of sensitive information. Block the receiving of messages. 2.4 Jailbreaking and Rooting Apple IPhone School (2010) explains jail breaking as the hacking activity of the iPhone, iPad and iPod that allows the individual to have access to the Unix file system. Jailbreaking an iPhone is analogous to rooting an Android phone. Ngo (2009) stated that

Perceptual Maps in Marketing Simulation Summary Essay Example for Free
Perceptual Maps in Marketing Simulation Summary Essay Perceptual maps help to improve a companys current product on the market by mapping consumer expectation of the product. The motorcycle company Thorr Motors perceptual maps were used to create a marketing plan to aid in maintaining a high brand image of their motorcycles. The Marketing Dictionary defines perceptual maps as a process by which consumers perceptions of an existing product are charted (n.d., para. 1). In this paper the three phases of the simulation, the situation, recommended solution, and results will be discussed. In addition there will be a discussion on relationship between differentiation and positioning of products or services and the impact of the product life cycle on marketing. Phase I (201)Sales of the Cruiser Thorr are decreasing. This is so because the Cruiser Thorrs target consumers are aging and their tastes have begun to outgrow the lifestyle that Cruiser Thorr symbolizes. In addition to this issue, younger consumers are more interested in lower priced motorcycles due to their lower personal disposable incomes and they do not indentify with Cruiser Thorrs lifestyle image. This scenario wanted to determine the Cruiser Thors position in the market by choosing four relevant parameters that will reflect the highest potential. For phase I the parameters that were chosen were lifestyle image, services offered, price, and quality engineering. Lifestyle image was chosen since the image for the Cruiser Thorr was being outgrown by the aging target audience and was not identifiable with younger consumers. Since the Cruiser Thorrs lifestyle image is set very high any vital information gathered will be highly useful to maintain that level of image so that it satisfies both an older and younger audience. Services offered was another parameter chosen because compared to their competitors the services offered by the Cruiser Thorr are limited. The more frills a product comes with, the more it may heighten the desire for it. The third parameter that was chosen was price. Price was chosen because for many consumers price is one of the most important factors in making a buying decision. Furthermore, it was stated earlier that younger consumers were more interested in lower priced motorcycles. Finding out how much is too much as well as how low can you go without diluting brand image will be important in determining theà appropriate price tag to spark consumer interest. The last parameter chosen was quality engineering. This was chosen because of the fact that the Cruiser Thorr will not be able to maintain a high brand image without this feature (University of Phoenix, 2004). The decision to use lifestyle image, services offered, price, and quality engineering were the appropriate parameters to use. The parameters that were chosen were fundamental to the perceptual map and gave the best perspective as opposed to the other options. Phase II The position of the Cruiser Thorr is determined by the perceptual map and this position has not helped sales. This scenario calls for the marketing manager to create a marketing plan that will either reposition the Cruiser Thorr or launch a new motorcycle. Upon researching threats and weaknesses of Thorr Motorcycles, the decision was made to launch a new motorcycle, the RRoth, which will grab the attention of younger consumers. With the new launch the marketing mix needed to be determined. The price for the new RRoth was set between $13,000 and $15,000. This price range was chosen because earlier surveys conducted showed that the younger consumers were more interested in lower priced motorcycles. The types of promotions chosen were sponsored events at Daytona, offering insurance and protection plans, free test rides, publicize through Hollywood films, and providing giveaway merchandise. These were all chosen because of the high amount of appeal these types of promotional methods would have on younger consumers. The places chosen to promote the RRoth were the internet (Manufacturers Web site), Dealers, and Distributors. These options were chosen because of the accessibility to younger consumers, especially the internet. The services chosen were training to dealers, customization options, and financial services. Training to dealers was chosen so that the dealers can provide detailed and accurate information about the products sold. Customization options were chosen because this would add to the cool and youthful image of the RRoth. Financial services were chosen because the younger consumers indicated an interest in financing options. Choosing to launch a new motorcycle turned out to be a good decision. The marketing mix options chosen were the most optimal for the formulation of a differentiation strategy. Phase III It has been a year since the marketing plan was implemented and it is now time to determine if the plans have or have not been a success. Consumer perceptions of the Cruiser Thorr and the RRoth have been surveyed and a perceptual map will show whether or not the marketing activities have been a success. The marketing manager has to interpret market research to plot brand attributes of Cruiser Thorr. In addition, attributes relevant to the RRoth need to be chosen and interpreted to create RRoths perceptual map. The Cruiser Thorr was rated in lifestyle image at 9 because initially this was rated very high. A nine would be most appropriate. For price a rate of 4 was chosen because consumers saw this particular motorcycle as pricey compared to other brands. A rating of 4 or 5 would be appropriate. Services offered are rated at a 7 because services for the Cruiser Thorr is limited compared to competitors but were revamped because of consumer response. A rating of 7 is most appropriate. Quality engineering was rated at 8 because consumers think that Cruiser Thorrs engine is the best. A rating of 8 is very appropriate. The RRoth was rated at a 7 for lifestyle image because like other Thorr motorcycles consumers are already considering it a status symbol. The rating chosen was the appropriate choice. Price was rated at 8 because the RRoth is cheaper than the Cruiser Thorr in order to target a younger consumer. An 8 rating is appropriate. Cool was chosen for the RRoth because of the younger audience and a rating of 8 was chosen. A rating of 8 was most appropriate. Relationship between differentiation and positioning of products or servicesDifferentiation of product is according to Investopedia a marketing process that showcases the differences between products (Investopedia, .n.d., para. 1). Positioning of products is the consumer perception of a product or service as compared to its competition (Lake, n.d., para. 1). The relationship is that in order for a company to be a leader in that particular industry not only do they have to differentiate themselves fromà the competition, but they must also secure a position in the market that when consumers needs need to be met, that company will be number one on the list in consumers minds. The repositioning of the product in the simulation is what I had expected. It was expected because one of the main issues was the changing perceptions of the consumers and there was nothing wrong with the physical product. Tastes were changing but the product was still of high quality. Like many companies they offered a fresh new product and for Thorr Motorcycles this attracted younger consumers. But they did not totally scrap efforts on the Cruiser Thorr and worked on revamping the image. Product Life Cycle The impact the product life cycle has on marketing is that business need to plan their products around the product life cycle. Knowing where the product is on the cycle, marketing strategies can be adjusted to maintain profitability. A particular firms marketing mix usually must change during the product life cycle (Perreault et al, 2004, pg. 270). In the simulation the Cruiser Thorr was in the decline stage of the life cycle as their sales were declining rapidly. The declining sales were because the older audiences tastes were outgrowing the Cruiser Thorr and younger consumers were put off by the high price. Because Cruiser Thorr was in decline stage, a new motorcycle, the RRoth was introduced to the life cycle and aimed at a different target group to revamp sales and consumer perception. ConclusionThe perceptual map helped to determine consumer expectations for Thorr Motorcycles. Precise parameters were determined to hone in on exactly what they wanted and expected from the company. This ultimately is what enabled Thorr Motorcycles to reposition consumer perceptions back to where Thorr motors wanted. In this paper the three phases of the simulation, the situation, recommended solution, and results were discussed. In addition there was a discussion on relationship between differentiation and positioning of products or services and the impact of the product life cycle on marketing. References: Differentiation. Legacy of Communist Leaders Essay -- Papers
Legacy of Communist Leaders The History of modern Russia (twentieth century) is the period of communist government. After the revolution in 1917 Russia became the first communist state, which survived until 1991. Seventy-four years of rapid changes left an enormous mark in the history of Russia. This period of history introduced us to the greatest communist leaders. History doesn't happen by itself. There must be Individuals who make it. And in our history those individuals are Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev, Brezhnev, Gorbachev and Yeltsin. To understand how this period of history affected the present and then future we must look at each leader at a time to see what were his purposes and actions and make an opinion. Before 1917 Russia was an empire with tsars from Romanov dynasty. It was a powerful Empire with some weaknesses, which each empire has. Before the revolution in 1917 there was the First Russian Revolution in 1905 knows as the Bloody Sunday. There were three parties - Social-Democratic Labour Party (1898), Party Socialist-Revolutionaries and the Constitutional-Democratic Party. The Social-Democratic Labour Party split into two half: The Bolsheviks (Majority) led by Vladimir Lenin and The Mensheviks (Minority) led by Martov. Vladimir Lenin (born in 1840) began his political career already in University from which he was expelled as a radical troublemaker. In 1890 he went abroad and joined The Marxists - Plekhanov and Martov. He traveled a lot and had a chance to talk to well educated people. Abroad he wrote his books and after he returned in 1917 he started to realize his ideas. He was the leader of the October revolution... ... happen next. Beginning from Khrushchev's Era and Brezhnev's the country started to move away from the communism system. It happened very slowly but the fact that it started is obvious. The mentality of Soviet people will remain for some time. Our country will not accept individualities because they are afraid of them. And I think it is not only in Russia. It is everywhere. The Communist system stopped the natural development of our country. We are far away behind the European countries. The Ideology of communism is amazing but it cannot work on such huge territory as Russia. Utopia is not possible in our world and it is strange how the communist leaders could even think of realizing their dreams. Individuals rule world and you cannot admit it. You cannot force history. No matter what it will go its own way, direction.

The film which is about a young and an idealist teacher who want to change something. The film which involves the reflections of feminism and functionalism. In this essay I analyze these reflections. Firstly, according to the functionalism, everyone in society has a role and everyone play their role contribute to the smooth functioning of society. Children learn and internalize the norms and expectations which are accepted in a society. In this wise, they adopt sex roles. So,gender roles are compatible with sex.Because there are innate differences. N the movie, the girls who study at the college take courses not only physics and art history but also speech and marriage. Because they will graduate in a few years and they will find a good husband and then they will be housewife. They will have responsibilities such as providing comfort a man and care of children. Because gender roles are innate. Gender roles are learned and internalized with the help of agencies such as family, educational institutions. There are these agencies in this movie.Furthermore, functional approach suggest that gender differences contribute to social stability and integration. Namely, the women should concentrate on domestic and family responsibilities while men work outside the home. There are expressive roles for women and instrumental roles for men. The females should provide care and security of children and offer them emotional support. Men,on the other hand, are the breadwinner in the family. For example,in this movie, the girls are given courses about the importance of expressive roles. But there is a unequal division of labor within the Emily. Functionalism believes that this state is necessary for the maintenance of social stability. There are examples of giving importance of this necessity in the movie. Divorce is seen a bad state by people in that society and the mother don't accept her daughter who want to back home. Functionalists emphasize the importance of moral consensus which exis t when most people in a society share the same values and it is important to maintain order for them. In the movie, there is a order and balance in the society.Because there are rules, arrangements, traditions and values which interlink the people. In this way,the moral consensus exist in a society. For instance, there are traditional competitions which are about marriage having a baby in college. Secondly, feminist approaches reject the idea that gender inequality IA natural. Feminism is based on women's freedom. The women should not be representative of their gender roles which are given them in innate. Instead, they should live by their own definition. In the movie, the teacher is defender of feminism. Her opinion is that her students should be more free when they take their own decisions. She provide that the students discuss on the subject in the class. In the way, their ideas will occur and they will not copy other people's opinion. Also, feminist approach emphasizes that there must be equal opportunity between women and men. For example, the range of education. The teacher encourage the student in studying law. To sum up,it is possible to see that the reflections of functionalism and feminism in the movie. Essay on Mona Lisa smile By kickball

The And Out Of The Cradle Endlessly Rocking By Walt Whitman
Mortality The theme mortality was expressed in similar manners but had opposite meanings in ââ¬Å"When I have fears that I may cease to beâ⬠by John Keats and ââ¬Å"Out of the Cradle Endlessly Rockingâ⬠by Walt Whitman. Bits and pieces of nature were used to personify mortality. Additional historical context showed that the poems are reflections of their respective authorsââ¬â¢ view on mortality. The interpreted meanings of the theme from the poems were greatly different. Despite being written four decades apart, similarities between the poems were rampant. Poets used nature as a colour palette to paint a theme in their works. Mortalityââ¬â¢s two faces of living and dying were exhibited through metaphors and imageries. In ââ¬Å"When I have fears that I may cease to be,â⬠the first quatrain (Keats 2-4) produced images of agriculture. His thoughts were compared to crops, thus, the author himself was a farm. A farm was full of life, containing lush greenery and a wildlife that roamed around. It is a breathing living thing. The phrase ââ¬Å".. on the shoreâ⬠(Keats 12) was an interesting word choice given for a person on the brink of death. It gave the image that life was a state between nature elements of land and water. The last words ââ¬Å" .. to nothingness do sinkâ⬠(Keats 14) compared dying to diving into an ocean of oblivion. It gave the reader an image of afterlife as a vast unknown. Poem Analysis of Mending Wall - 1121 Words
***** ******** October 20, 2011 Professor ****** Poem Analysis Mending Wall I chose this poem because the wall reminds me of my personal struggles with other people. When people annoy or bother me I instantly put up an imaginary wall between me and that person. They ask me to stop ignoring them and I just shrug their request, just like in this poem. I decide that the wall between us is better up than down because I was afraid of getting mad and saying things that I would regret later on. Mending Wall, by Robert Frost portrays the routines of two neighbors who are constantly mending the fence, or wall, that separates their properties. If a stone is missing from the fence, you can bet that the two men are out there putting it backâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Now lets reflect on Frosts use of the stone itself. What could he have meant by this poem? Stay where you are until our backs are turned. He is speaking to the stones. In other words he is telling them that if they are going to fall, please wait until he is not looking. This seems to be an odd touch to this poem. It almost appears that the man is so bored at times that he would talk about or to anything. Maybe the neighbor is not as much of a talker as one might have imagined. Maybe the man only has himself and these inanimate objects to converse with. After all, the only quote by the neighbor in this poem is; Good fences make good neighbors. In another light however, there is the idea of separation, or segregation. I have briefly touched on the idea that the two men are consistently kept apart by this wall. In addition though, the author contrasts his wall of separation with the idea of segregation in our world. We are left with the impression that if two people have differences, no matter the extent, they are not considered equals by society. The wall unites our narrator and his neighbor, but separates them as well. As we hear the neighbor says to the narrator twice ââ¬Å"Good fences make good neighborsâ⬠(27). The central theme of Mending Wall is whether it is wise to erect walls and other types of barriers. I believe the poem suggests that wall stands as an obstacle to progress and social agreement. Listeria monocytogenes Essay - 1007 Words
Listeria monocytogenes Introduction Listeria monocytogenes, a motile, gram-positive rod, is an opportunistic food-borne pathogen capable of causing listeriosis in humans. Listeriosis includes manifestations of septicemia, meningitis, pneumonia, and encephalitis. L. monocytogenes is also implicated in miscarriages, stillbirth, and premature birth for pregnant women. L. monocytogenes is a tough bacterium resistant to freezing, drying, and heat; most strains have been shown to be pathogenic. It is hypothesized that 1-10% of humans are intestinal carriers of L. monocytogenes. Over 37 mammalian species, including wild and domestic animals, are capable of L. monocytogenes infection and transmission. Extensive environmental reservoirs for L.â⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦Pathogenic L. monocytogenes go through an intracellular life cycle involving early escape from the phagocytic vacuole, rapid intracytoplasmic multiplication, bacterially induced actin-based motility, and direct spread to neighboring cells, in which they reini tiate the cycle. The bacterium is first phagocytosed by these cells and secretes a pore-forming toxin called listeriolysin, which allows the bacterium to escape from the phagosome. All virulent strains of L. monocytogenes synthesize and secrete listeriolysin. Phospholipase A and B are other virulence factors that facilitate escape of L. monocytogenes from the phagosome. Once out of the phagosome L. monocytogenes is capable of rapid division in the cytoplasm, evading the immune response and moving throughout the cytoplasm from cell to cell. L. monocytogenes is well known for its ability to propel itself like a rocket through the cell cytoplasm. This is the result of the bacteriumââ¬â¢s ability to polymerize actin filaments at its tail end. Actin is arranged in subunits to form microfilaments that are capable of directing cell movement. L. monocytogenes accomplishes cell motility through a virulence factor called ActA that takes advantage of normal actin polymerization going on in the cell. The ActA protein shares sequence homology with a protein called WASP that is found in virtually all eukaryotic cells. WASP is responsible for recognizing andShow MoreRelatedListeria Monocytogenes2714 Words à |à 11 PagesDescription Listeria monocytogenes is a gram-positive motile facultative anaerobe that inhabits a variety of environments. Light On The Statement Of Leadership Samples â⬠MyAssignmenthelp.com
Question: Discuss about the Light On The Statement Of Leadership. Answer: Introduction A leader can be defined as an individual who is the guiding light to the various employees in an organization. A leader is very often considered to be a visionary head of the organization that needs to be bestowed with a large number of skills and has various roles in an organization (Antonakis and Day 2017). The job of a leader requires certain set of activities like creating an inspiring vision for the organizations future and then binding people together in order to see to it that all of them work hard to achieve the goals. His role also involves looking after the people and motivating them to do tasks which are right for the organization. Along with setting the direction for the entire organization, the leader also needs to make use of the managerial skills to achieve success (Bhatti et al. 2012). It is often stated that a leader needs to be born with a certain set of personality and hence leadership is an art. In a similar scenario, a leader has to function in a manner based on a definite set of rules and regulations which is why it is often referred to as a science. This essay aims to throw light on the statement that leadership is both an art as well as a science. The reason behind the given statement will be discussed using practical examples along with theoretical references. Various theories like the behavioral theories will be discussed in order to prove validity to the statement Leadership as an Art An art is made of human skills. Very often the artistic side of leadership remains hidden and the leaders do not get to reflect their creativity in the corporate business world (Landis, Hill and Harvey 2014). The manner in which an organization functions, a leader may often find it extremely difficult to portray the creativity however, during certain circumstances there arises a situation where the leader is allowed to imagine and here the artistic side of leadership is revealed. The leadership is based on the imagination and creativity aspect of the person. Furthermore, the leader`s job greatly requires interaction and communication with various parties involved in a business which then can be referred to as an art (Daft 2014). This can be stated because an art involves convincing the various parties to a business and motivating them to carry out their tasks. Leadership is an act of empathy and empathy is incomplete without imagination. This involves understanding a third party`s thought to understand their perspective and work with them. Very often this aspect is not given importance to and is believed that leadership is just concerned with the theories and scientific set of rules but instead empathy is hugely related to art and through this leadership can be described as an art. A leader is a storehouse of various skills. A leader is incomplete without skills like communication, time management, negotiation and conflict management. These skills are in born in a person and cannot be taught to the different leaders. Communication refers to as the method of flow of ideas from one individual to another. With the help of the communication skills, person can easily get the tasks done. According to Bolman and Deal (2017),time management is another important skill that needs to be in a leader. This is because time is a running aspect and the business environment is ever changing. If the leader is unable to manage the various aspects of the business enterprise using the time concept then he will not be able to manage the business. The concept of time cannot be taught with a given theory and can only be mastered with time. Hence, the statement rightly suggests that Leadership is an art with respect to the skills requirement of a person which is inbuilt. Very often there arises a situation, whereby the leadership skill of an individual can be observed from a very young age. Whether the child is in school or college, he or she portrays all the essential qualities of a leader and is always the head of all the groups he is a member of (Van Wart 2014). Very often the people may wonder, the reason behind the given scenario, however there exists no scientific theory or knowledge behind this because these are the skills that a person is born with and they get further developed with time (Chaudhry and Javed 2012). A simple example of the Global billionaires and visionary leaders like Bill Gates and Mark Zuckerberg can be used where by one can reflect that these leaders where college drop outs and did not achieve any professional knowledge but still have been able to successfully build up the globe`s largest organizations. A similar example of the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi can be used who has been described as one of the most influential leaders of 2015. However, the Prime Minister of India, comes from a very humble background with no profound leadership qualification. However, he is one the greatest leaders which the world has witnesses. Hence, from these examples it can be clearly stated that leadership is an art which is inbuilt. A person who has the presence of a certain skills within him can make him a successful leader and leadership is all about the innovation and creativity skills of a given person (Goleman, Boyatzis and McKee 2013.).The example of the company Apple can also be taken who applied innovation and creativity in their designs and their products have been a figment of the management`s imagination. The Trait Theory of Leadership The given leadership theory believes that not all leaders become one due to scientific knowledge or training but are instead born with some qualities which make the leader competent. These qualities are qualities of intelligence, responsibility, value inputs and creativity. The trait theory analyses the social, mental and physical characteristics of the leaders to gain a better understanding of the common characteristics among the leaders. The Great Man Theory The Great Man theory of 1840s also states a similar point to this and stated that the characteristics which exist in a potential leader are all intrinsic and that the leadership traits are quite similar to that of the traits which a person is born with and hence, Leadership can be clearly stated to be an art with the help of which an individual will be able to achieve success in the business environment. The artistic side of the leader is extremely important in making the leader creative and empathetic . Without these qualities a leader will not be able t carry out the tasks properly and hence, the use of imagination will be limited . Hence, leadership can said to be an art. The next section of the essay will concentrate on why leadership is considered to be a science. Leadership as a science According to Hargreaves and Fink (2012), although leadership is considered to be an art, it is an undeniable fact that it is also a science. There exists science in the manner in which the modern leadership tends to function. In the present era, the organizations tend to function with big data and predictive analysis in order to solve complex situations and understand the patterns behind the behavior and the functioning of the target market. Hence, as a science, although leadership does not require an individual to be scientist with respect to data, a fundamental process of science is required in every decision that a company tends to make. Science often involves the use of microscopes, telescopes , equations and quantum mechanics in order to see to it that the relevant decision can be taken. However, leadership does not require that kind of science but involves the use of simple science such as examination off the evidence available and then making relative conclusions from it for the benefit of the organization. This scientific process of analyzing the information based on the situation and then making relevant decisions depending upon that. This information may refer to information such as sale figures, health and safety legislation or low staff morals in the administration team (Kara et al. 2013). The information which is derived from the situation in hand helps the company to draw relative conclusions about what is happening, the reason behind it and how the company will deal with the situation. The scientific aspect of leadership is relevant because without the application of science, the data would not have been converted to relevant information and the major decisions in the organization cannot be taken. The reason why leadership is considered to be a science is given in the following section,. First of all, Leadership requires talent acquisition Talent Acquisition A leader needs to be a storehouse of talent. The leader in any organization is required to be extremely talented and versatile in order to adapt to the needs of the changing environment and in order to analyze the situations and take corrective actions. Although leadership as an art states that leadership is an inborn talent which is inbuilt, however, all talents required in a leader are not inbuilt and some of them have to be acquired throughout the lifetime of the leader (Mitchell 2013). This acquisition process involves gaining data through scientific knowledge . The acquisition of all the talent which is required to become a food leader involves application of scientific aspects like learning which will then help the leader to become a jack of all trades. Knowledge acquiring According to Northouse (2015),Knowledge acquisition needs to be an essential part of building up the character of a leader. Knowledge refers to the idea a particular leader needs to have about the various aspects of the business like planning, human resource, manufacturing, marketing, financing, costing and others (Chemers 2014). This knowledge, however smart an individual is cannot be inbuilt in a person and he will be required to attain these knowledge aspects with the help of education. There are various professional courses available like that of Masters in Business Management and leadership along with bachelors degree in leadership which will then provide all relevant knowledge to the managers in the domain of the business and enable them to excel in the given field. Hence, this concept of taking a degree is a form of science and for a reason like this Leadership is often considered to be a science (Nahavandi 2016). Experience based on Organizational leadership Leadership skills are also built when a person is placed in an organization and he learns through involvement in a variety of projects and reports tend to prepare the leader for future endeavors and through the process of learning, the leader understands how he has to progress in a given organization and the manner in which the person is able to derive better results (Lussier and Achua 2015). Leadership with reference to organizational context involves application of theoretical data in the practical form and learning from the mistakes (Spillane 2012). The various theories need to be tested and each of the results achieved from the application of one theory needs to be evaluated and the person needs to improve with time. Hence, the exposure to the actual corporate world helps the individual to attain knowledge with reference to the real world organization and this shall help the individual to become a better leader. Building up leadership takes time According to Amanchukwu, Stanley and Ololube (2015), Leadership can be inbuilt however, not every aspect of the leadership is always present in the person from the very beginning. Certain aspects of a leader like analyzing, performance management, information processing, production aspects and other important information is often gathered and built up during the course of time (Bolman and Deal 2017). Hence, leadership is often considered to be science which is developed by application of various resources, time and effort. The three levels of leadership theory The three levels of leadership theory is a theory which was formulated by James Scouller. In the given theory he stated that a persons leadership skills and presence can be developed and grown. The theory aims to summarize the tasks which need to be done by the leaders and the technical changes and psychologically requirements that they need to bring in the organization in order to develop the aspect of leaders and provide vision to the particular organization (GolemanBoyatzis and McKee 2013). This particular theory combines the older leadership theories like traits, behavioral and functional and combines them with the concept of authentic leadership. Leadership is built on a variety of scientific management tools and theories. These scientific management tools refer to the various control measures used by a manger in an organization such as Data analytics, Job Analysis, Performance Management, Financial Analysis, Human Resource Management, Cooperation between managers and workers, Planning and training. According to Taylor, these aspects tend to form an essential aspect of any leader in an organization and they have to be learnt in order to be successful. According to Fairhurst and Connaughton (2014), the learning and application of thee scientific knowledge tools requires lot of resources and time. However, without these tools an organization may not be able to succeed in achieving the goals of the organization and is considered as an important aspect for a leader to have a skills and a strength in all the stated scientific management tools in order to ensure that he is able to manage all the aspects of the given business and is able to manage the organization effectively. Therefore from the given analysis it can be stated that Leadership is an evolving concept and the definition of a leader is ever changing. A leader needs to be the guiding path of all the employees and the leader needs to use all techniques and concepts to take the organization where it belongs to. It can be stated that, Leadership is both an art and science. It is an art because it uses the application of creativity and innovation in an organization and it is a science because it makes use of various tools, principles and techniques in order to achieve the goals of the organization or that of a leader. The given essay highlighted various points which proved that leadership is both an art as well as a science. The essay provided a brief introduction as to why leadership is considered to be an art. It reflected the statement using the Behavioral theory and the Traits theory. Art requires imagination and inbuilt skills, which is an essential aspect of leadership as well. In the same manner, the reasons why leadership is a science have also been provided. Leadership is referred to as a science because; it involves learning and development of scientific knowledge along with skills which include the knowledge of various functions of the organization. The reasons by it are considered to be a science has been discussed briefly. Hence, Leadership is that skill of an organization which can be both inbuilt as well as learnt. It is dependent on the individual who is bound to be a leader to learn the skills he has not been bestowed with and utilize his inbuilt skills to strive towards a successful goal completion of the organization.
